Philosophy

Medtech Services was formed in May of 1988 with the basic goal of repairing wheelchairs for people in need. Over the years, as we have added new products and offered additional services to the community, our focus has continued to be helping those in need.

We firmly believe that by taking good care of people, our business and employees will continue to prosper. The question that guides us is: "How would we want ourselves or a family member treated if they needed our services?" We respond daily with a commitment to "Quality Products, Superior Service, and Expert Knowledge in the durable medical equipment industry."

At Medtech Services, service after the sale is key. Since its inception, Medtech Services has expanded its product line to include custom manual and power wheelchairs, seating and positioning products, and adaptive equipment. We have had the opportunity, during this time, to evaluate many different products, and can work with your health care professional to find the product that is right for you.
 

The products we carry offer the highest quality for the best price. Our commitment is that our customers and their insurance companies will receive the most value for their money. This philosophy benefits our customers in many ways:

  1. Customers can depend on us to take good care of them and their products well after the initial purchase.
  2. Customers won't need to visit another company to obtain service. We know the history of every piece of equipment we sell.
  3. We have rental equipment on hand should our customer require comparable products for use, in the event their wheelchair or scooter stays overnight for service/repairs. Not all customized equipment will be available for rental.
  4. Customers will receive additional training or fine tuning adjustments as a courtesy after the sale. 
  5. Insurance companies can be confident insured patients receive the benefit of our skilled staff during the evaluation phase. The result is appropriate equipment evaluated by qualified professionals. 

By adhering closely to our "sales with service" philosophy, we generate referral business, both from existing customers and from health care professionals who have learned of our capabilities. We gladly spend the extra time required to research products for conditions not commonly encountered. Often times, in performing this research, we learn about other products which are applicable for more routine patient needs that we would otherwise never learn about.
